Alphonso JosephMandeville Businessman Shot Dead In Robbery

MANDEVILLE, Manchester – The Manchester police have confirmed that 48-year-old Mandeville businessman Alphonso Joseph was shot and killed at about 8:20 pm Wednesday night shortly after he and his wife closed their business place. A senior police source told the Jamaica Observer that the couple had just reached home on Mckenley Drive in the vicinity of Brumalia Road when gunmen pounced and demanded money. When no money was forthcoming shots were fired killing the businessman.
