Hunt On For Woman Who Allegedly Shot Teacher

The St Mary police say they have obtained valuable information relating to the wounding of a 36- year-old male teacher at a bar in Paggee District, Port Maria, last Thursday. The teacher's motorcar was also stolen but was found in the Islington community the following day. The police say they carried-out raids in the Islington community early this morning where several persons were searched. Commanding officer for the St Mary police, Superintendent Dean Johnson says no one was arrested but the police received information valuable to the case. In the meantime, Superintendent Johnson has confirmed that 20-year-old Toni-lyn Blackburn is one of two women being sought for questioning in relation to the case. Blackburn otherwise called ‘tee-lyn’, is of roadside district in Islington, St Mary and Ocho Rios, St Ann.He also states, that Blackburn is believed to be armed and dangerous. Superintendent Johnson says the teacher's condition has improved but says he cannot divulge more than that.
