Troy Anthony Vassell an alleged gang member was shot dead during a confrontation with the police along Upper Regent Street, downtown Kingston this morning. A joint police/military operation took place in the area today and the man was fatally shot and a firearm was seized. The shooting incident was reported to the INDECOM.
