Minor Earthquake Felt In St Catherine, St Andrew

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica -- The Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies has reported that a magnitude 2.9 earthquake was felt in Harkers Hall, St Catherine Monday. The earthquake occurred at about 3:51pm, with a focal depth of 10.5 kilometres. Described as “very minor” by the Unit, the quake was also felt in Forest Hill, St Andrew.
