WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — A 14-year-old boy who was involved in a motor vehicle collision, while riding a motorcycle in his community of Farm Pen, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, on Saturday has died.
He is Alexander Samuels.
According to reports reaching the Jamaica Observer, Alexander succumbed to his injuries at hospital Sunday night.
Alexander was reportedly riding a motorcycle along the Farm Pen main road about 3:00 pm on Saturday, when he collided with a Toyota Town Ace motor vehicle, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
He was taken to hospital after receiving serious head and chest injuries
Reports are that Alexander tried to overtake a line of traffic.
