Azurest Puts Blame On Media

Azurest Cambridge in a press release has placed blame on the media for contributing to its failure to secure funding for posting its security bond for the proposed 360MW project. In a statement yesterday Azurest said negative comments made in the media discouraged potential investors from coming onboard in what it claims was a deliberate ploy due to them being selected as the preferred bidder. Azurest stated that Jamaican citizens have been robbed of the chance to access cheaper energy. Yesterday the OUR stated that it would move to next preferred bidder Energy World Consortium after Azurest failed to deliver its 1 percent bid bond to the mega project in 15 days.
