DarylVaz Apologises To Shaw Over 'Insults'
West Portland Member of Parliament Daryl Vaz at JLP meeting in Western St. Mary, offered an apology to JLP Leadership Aspirant Shaw for what he described as the aggressive tone aimed at him at a JLP meeting in Old Harbour on Sunday, by those opposed to his leadership bid. "I pay him the respect and apologise to you Audley Shaw as an officer and Deputy Leader of the Jamaica Labour Party for the utterances that came off that platform against you and others" ---- "my friends and my colleagues and delegates of the Labour Party, the aggressive tone the negative content, the rhetoric is simply unacceptable." Mr Vaz urged Party Leader Andrew Holness not to only disassociate himself but when he is on the platform that those sort of utterances are not apart of any meeting.
