INDECOM Responds To Sergeant Wilson Statements
The Independent Commission of Investigations issued a press release today to address several concerns raised by Sergeant Raymond Wilson chairman of the Jamaica Police Federation. Seargeant Wilson stated that recent court rulings in favour of the INDECOM has led to police morale being low as he urged the Government to amend flaws in the INDECOM Act. However the INDECOM stressed that it is concerned for the rights of police officers to be upheld just as the right of normal citizens but also reiterated that it is already in discussions with the JCF over several of the issues raised by the chairman of the Police Federation. A copy of the press release can be viewed above and/or downloaded in Pdf format.
