36-year-old Jamaican Courtney Williams who is accused of hitting his wife received bail with three conditions when he appeared in the San Fernando Magistrate Court, Trinidad yesterday. Williams entered a not guilty plea to unlawfully assault and occasioning bodily harm on his wife Michelle George in Claxton Bay on Monday. A medical report presented by the prosecution showed that she received minor injuries. The Jamaican received $15,000 bail, and ordered to stay away from the complainant and have no contact with her until the case was finished. A November 18 date has been set for the trial to begin.
