Man Strangles Daughter, Hangs Self After HIV Result

Police in Kenya have confirmed that a man strangled his four-year-old daughter to death before hanging himself in Migori County after finding out that he was HIV positive. According to the Police the man was working in Mwanza Town on the outskirts of Migori County and had buried his spouse in September. Police are theorizing that he killed his daughter because he thought no one would take care of her, if he died from his condition.
