20-yr-old Man Shot Dead By Police In St. Catherine

20-year-old Horace Parkins was shot and killed by the police in a section of Horizon Park, St. Catherine. The incident took place when a police team was alerted to a robbery at a bar and upon their arrival six men were accosted. A shootout ensued and one of the men identified as Parkins was shot and an illegal gun was recovered. Parkins was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Residents in the area have protested the shooting death of the man who they stated was not involved in any robbery
