80 YEAR OLD GRANNY TRIES TO KILL HUBBY FOR STAYING OUT LATE

There seems to be a growing trend among elderly women that can be fatal for their husbands: They’re fed up. Earlier this year we reported the story of Annie Oliver, an 80-year-old Kansas City, MO woman who was arrested after beating her husband to death with a baseball bat for “talking smart.” Now 80-year-old Tempie Strickland of Fort-Worth, Texas is facing attempted murder charges after pulling the trigger on a jammed gun in an attempt to kill her husband for staying out late.Police say the woman and her 73-year-old husband were arguing when the incident occurred. Officer Sharron Neal says the wife allegedly retrieved a revolver from the couple’s bedroom, put the gυn to her husband’s chest, and pulled the trigger. Fortunately for him, the weapon didn’t fire. Despite his wife’s violent behavior, Sterling Strickland didn’t want her charged. However, police must make arrests in suspected domestic violence situations. Mansfield jail records show the woman was being held on an attempted murder charge. Her bond was set at $100,000. What do you think?
