CNN GIVING BLACK ANCHOR A SHOT IN PRIMETIME…. KIND OF

BMS has learned that CNN is giving Don Lemon a program in primetime…..kind of…….He’s going from the “weekend ghettos to the weekday ghetto” (that’s what black folks in the industry call the weekends and anything weekday after 10pm) The new show begins early next month, Lemon will host a half-hour show weeknights at 11pm. He has also been tapped as a fill-in anchor for Erin Burnett (WHO THE HELL IS SHE LOL) when she goes on maternity leave soon.Lemon relocated from CNN HQ in Atlanta to New York over the summer. CNN’s primetime will also need to make room for recent arrival Bill Weir‘s show which is expected to take to the air in the new year. Word on the street is Lemon’s show will rest on black folks shoulders….WTF does that mean? Remember CNN let Roland Martin fill in a few years back during a test run and his numbers stunk up the house? If you guys don’t watch – they won’t keep the show. That’s what that means…..
