Jamaican Convicted Of Double Murder in Bahamas #NewsReport

Serrano Adderley a Jamaican national, has been unanimously convicted by a Supreme Court jury in the Bahamas, for the murder of two men on July 11, 2011. The jury accepted evidence that Adderley fatally shot 40-year-old Kevin Forbes, and 28-year-old Jamaican Alwayne Leslie at a Haitian shantytown near Montgomery Avenue. Adderley has denied that he was at the scene of the crime, however the main witness for the prosecution Shawn Knowles positively identified that the Jamaican was at the scene. Knowles who is out on bail, is also accused along with another suspect of killing Adderley’s 8-month girlfriend several weeks later on July 30, 2011. Under Bahamian law fetal homicide is not an offense.
