SHONDA RHIMES ENDING SCANDAL!

Say it aint so!!!! But we all know, good things must come to an end. Even Scandal. Yes, it’s hard to imagine our lives without Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her gladiators gracing us with their presence each week, but creator Shonda Rhimes has revealed that she knows exactly when her juicy ABC drama’s crazy ride will come to an end. In an interview with NPR, Rhimes admitted, “I feel like there is a finite amount of Scandal to be told.” “I know what the end of Scandal will be, and I feel really good about that,” Rhimes continued. “And I can see where the end point is. And I don’t think I’n going to change that…I know how long it will be, but we’ll see.” A silver lining? Rhimes revealed that she felt the same way about Grey’s Anatomy and had an endgame in motion before she changed her mind. “I knew the end of Grey’s Anatomy, and then we kept going, so that I finally just had to write that and move past it,” she said. “Who knows, at this point, how long that show’s going to go? It’s going to go as long as I feel interested in what happens to those characters.” However, she noted that Scandal “is a different kind of show.” Excuse me…I need to down a glass of red wine, Olivia Pope-style.
