Two men shot dead at Spanish Town cookshop

30-year-old Cookshop operator Lenard Clarke and 52-year-old crane operator Leroy Gordon were shot and killed by gunmen at a cookshop located along Walks Road, Spanish Town, St. Catherine last night. Police stated that both victims were at the cookshop, when two armed men entered and opened fire on them. Gordon attempted to flee but collapsed in a bathroom at the location and died on the spot, while Clarke was later taken to hospital, and succumbed to his injuries. A motive for the fatal shooting has not been established.
