West Bromich Albion gave Manchester United its second defeat in three games as they beat the champions 2-1 at OId Trafford today. Albion took the lead after poor first half from both sides when Amalfitano bamboozled the United defence to chip the ball over goalkeeper David de Gea to stun Old Trafford. The Red Devils equalised through another Wayne Rooney freekick, however they went behind again when Berahino put them ahead to silence the home crowd. United went on the offensive to salvage the game and thought they were level again when substitute Maurone Fellaini tapped in Nani's cross but the flag was up signalling he was offside. The referee signalled the end of the match and this was West Brom's first win at Old Trafford in 35 years.
