MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A 68-year-old man shot and injured his 75-year-old wife in Mandeville, Manchester, early Friday morning, the Jamaica Observer has learned.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this time, however, preliminary reports are that the couple got into an altercation at home about 5:00 am Friday and the man fired shots at her from his licenced firearm.
She managed to escape the house and was rescued by a neighbour.
The woman has been admitted to hospital, however, the extent of her injuries is not known.
