Cuban Lightbulb Trial Delay Again
The Cuban lightbulb trial involving former Junior Energy Minister Kern Spencer and his assistant Coleen Wright has been delayed yet again after the case was put off until October 14 when the case was mentioned today. Presiding Judge Judith Pusey was unavailable for today’s resumption of the case which forced its adjournment. This was the third consecutive time the case was delayed. Mr. Spencer and Ms Wright are both accused of corruption and money laundering in the distribution of the Cuban light bulb programme which was being implemented in 2006
