Double murder rocks Cambridge,
CAMBRIDGE, St James – Detectives in St James are working to determine the circumstances surrounding a double-murder which rocked the quiet district of Cambridge in the parish Tuesday morning.
The dead men have been identified as 28-year-old computer technician Andrae Beckford, also called Beckham, of Cambridge, St James, and a 34-year-old chef, Jenion Sinclair, also known as Cush, of a Braeton address in St Catherine.
Reports are that about 1:00 am Beckford, Sinclair and another man were travelling in a black Toyota Runix motor vehicle when they were ambushed by two gunmen along the Tank Road section of Cambridge.
The gunmen held the three men at gun point and ordered them from the vehicle.
The thugs then robbed the men, shot two, and fired at the third before stealing the car and escaping.
Beckford and Sinclair were pronounced dead at hospital while the third man escaped without injury.
