House Debt Plan Rejected By The White House

A new plan by the Republican House leaders to avert the debt default and to lift the near three week partial shutdown of the government has been rejected by the White House. White House spokeswoman Amy Brundage described the Republican Party plan as a “partisan attempt to appease a small group of Tea Party Republicans who forced the government shutdown in the first place.”
