Mechanical Challenges Affect Water Supply In Westmoreland
The National Water Commission (NWC) wishes to apologise to customers in Whithorn, Caledonia, Darliston, Barneyside, Lambs River, Cornwall Mountain and Belvedere in Westmoreland, for the continued disruption they are experiencing in their water supply. This disruption in service is due to mechanical challenges at the Whithorn facility. The NWC assures customers in these areas that it is working assiduously to resolve the challenges and restore supply by Saturday, October 19, 2013. In the interim, the NWC will continue to truck water to the affected areas. The NWC regrets any inconvenience this disruption has caused and will provide timely updates on the situation.
