NEW VIDEO! PRINCE GETS KINKY IN “BREAKFAST CAN WAIT”

“I know you’re late, but I need another taste,” Prince sings on his new single, “Breakfast Can Wait.” And with the track’s music video, director Danielle Curiel adds some kinky images to the sex-as-food dirty talk. It’s a fitting companion: Lovers flirt in their kitchen against a backdrop of splattered breakfast foods, as Prince mingles slap-bass with his supple falsetto. There’s also plenty of the singer’s trademark weirdness, including a female Prince look-alike who sports a fake mustache.Prince seems to be enjoying an all-around playful approach with his new music: Back in August, he shared the hilarious cover art for “Breakfast Can Wait,” which features the iconic image of Dave Chappelle dressed up as the Purple One and holding a plate of pancakes, an image from a scene from Chappelle’s Show. More shockingly, Prince linked to the artwork from his brand new Twitter account. Prince is reportedly at work on a new LP called Plectrum Electrum, but no official release date has been announced.
