WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Two men were fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, Thursday morning.
The men have been identified as 24-year-old Jermaine Foote and a man known only as Omar Reid, otherwise called ‘Kirky’.
Two firearms, a home-made shotgun with three, 12-gauge cartridges and a 9 mm pistol with a magazine containing two, 9mm cartridges, were taken from the scene, the police have reported.
The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations. (INDECOM)
