Soldier Killed In Car Crash

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Twenty-eight-year-old Damion Douglas of Church Pen, Old Harbour, St Catherine, a member of the Jamaica Defence Force, died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision on the Old Works main road yesterday in the parish. The Point Hill Police reported that about 1:15 am, Douglas was driving a Mitsubishi motorcar when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an embankment. He sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he died while being treated.
