UN Says It Remains Committed To Haiti Despite Lawsuit

The United Nations says despite a class action lawsuit filed over the Cholera epidemic it remains committed to do all it can to aid persons affected. UN representative Farhan Haq who was responding questions regarding to a lawsuit filed by Haitians yesterday in New York said it was not the practice of the global body to discuss public claims filed against it. “As there are legal processes under way, we cannot make any further comment on this particular situation,” said Haq.
