When it comes to body modifications including piercings, tattoos, implants and the list can go on.
A new trend in body modification is showing your pearly whites with a piercing called Lip Plates, which usually goes on your lip but this one goes right below your lips to show your teeth with clear discs.
Lip plates are also known as a lip plugs or lip discs, and they trace back thousands of years to Sudan and Ethiopia (8700 BC). In this day in age Lip plates usually come as large discs (usually circular, and made from clay or wood), which are inserted into a pierced hole in either the upper or lower lip, or both, thereby stretching it.
