Reports are that, bodyguards assigned to the Prime Minister shoved TVJ reporter Vashon Brown as he attempted to question Mrs. Portia Simpson-Miller over the reinstatement of Richard Azan to the Work Ministry as a State Minister. “This is the latest in a string of incidents where members of the government and their functionaries have treated journalists in a disrespectful way,” said Ms. Grange, who expressed hope that the PAJ move swiftly to protect the rights of Journalists.
