SISTAH SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS FOR FIRING WARNING SHOT MAY GET OUT TODAY

A Florida woman sentenced to 20 years in prison for firing a warning shot during a domestic dispute is seeking her freedom pending her new trial.Marissa Alexander of Jacksonville won an appeal and faces another trial next year. Her lawyer will ask a court TODAY (Wednesday) to release her on bail.Alexander’s conviction became controversial because she was found guilty in spite of invoking Florida’s Stand Your Ground law. George Zimmerman, who killed unarmed black teenager, Trayvon Martin, was acquitted, while Alexander, who is black, received a long prison term for aggravated assault even though she did not fire at her then-husband and testified that he had physically assaulted her and was threatening to kill her. PRAYERS UP!!! What do you think?
