Female Special Constable Shot Dead In Portmore

23-year-old Arianna Henry a Female Special Constable was shot dead in Marine Park, Portmore, St. Catherine last night. The Special Constable who was attached to the Harmond Baracks Division, was in Marine Park with another police officer sometime after 8 pm, when armed men in a motor vehicle pounced on both of them. Four men alighted from the vehicle and opened fire on them and Special Constable Henry sustained an injury in her abdomen and later died. The other police officer returned fire and one of the armed men was hit. The alleged gunman who was injured has been hospitalised and is under police guard.
